Detection of defects in a 2D fluid-solid periodic cluster

The present work deals with locating a defect buried in medium composed of fluid matrix and small solid inhomogeneities. Classical imaging methods are based on delay sum principle would implicitly assume that the undamaged is homogeneous. topological framework however allows to take into account heterogeneous nature potentially advantage it. In this work, it applied demanding test case different assumptions knowledge properties using specifically-designed fluid-solid compatible function. It leads definition three processes whose results compared respectively synthetic experimental data. show relevance inhomogeneities’ locations information, but not necessarily at all steps process, leading so called hybrid method.
